 Transport options for getting to downtown San Jose, city hotels and farther afield are very good from Mineta San Jose International Airport, owing to the many public buses, private shuttles, taxis and limousines that operate from the airport.
Services leave from the Ground Transportation Center located outside Baggage Reclaim at Terminal A and also from outside of Terminal C.
Travel by Buses
The San Jose VTA Airport Flyer serves Mineta San Jose International Airport, Santa Clara Caltrain Station and San José Metro / Airport LRT Station. Scheduled buses also run to Santa Clara County, Santa Cruz and Monterey. The San Jose Greyhound bus station and the Amtrak train station are located about 3 miles / 5 km from the airport and are accessible by taxis, shuttles and limousines.
Travel by Shuttle Buses
Shuttles vans are available on-demand or by pre-booking inside the terminal or beforehand. Shuttles go from the Ground Transportation Center located near the garage at Terminal A and just outside of Terminal C. The fastest and most efficient way to get to your hotel, downtown San Jose, Santa Clara and surrounding areas is to take a taxi cab. Taxis go from the Ground Transportation Center outside of Terminal A and also from outside Baggage Reclaim at Terminal C.
Travel by Limousines
Limousines services run from Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC) from the second floor of the garage at Terminal A and from the curbside outside of Terminal C. Limousines should be booked in advance.
